Our Story

I am Khiki Eke-Spiff, a skincare formulator, licensed esthetician, educator, and initiator of The Village Entrepreneur Project.

I started Skhindu Apothecary to preserve and promote African traditional wellness remedies for the modern and informed consumer. The impact of Skhindu creates entrepreneurial opportunities for young, rural African high school graduates to join the beauty and wellness industry. These opportunities are available across the entire supply chain, from raw material processing to packaging to sales. Used for centuries, African traditional wellness remedies have been found to be natural, holistic, and highly effective. 

I love helping others look and feel beautiful and rejuvenated by offering results-centered skincare products and treatments. These products serve a dual purpose; they promote wellness while supporting the fight against poverty in rural Nigerian villages. All our products are handmade in small batches using carefully selected natural and naturally derived ingredients.
